At The Village Chippy, our story is built on dedication, community, and family tradition. Our owner, Lorna McNatt, first walked through these doors at the age of 16 to work for the previous owner. Recognising the potential of this local gem, Lorna eventually stepped up to lease the property before officially buying the business three years later.

Fast forward 34 years, and Lorna is still behind the counter, now proudly working alongside her daughter, Rebecca McNatt. Over the decades, Lorna and Rebecca have evolved the business far beyond a standard fish-and-chip shop. They have listened to what the community loves, continuously expanding the kitchen's offerings to create a broad, modern menu that satisfies every craving while keeping the authentic, warm, mother-daughter family welcome at the heart of everything they do.
