Answer
At Local Where 2, we take pride in maintaining a trusted and accurate directory for both businesses and consumers. To ensure this, all listings are subject to a validation process. If your listing has been moved to “Pending” status, it’s likely due to one or more of the following reasons:
- Mismatch in Contact Information
- We verify that the contact details provided—such as your email, address, and phone number—match those found on your business’s website or social media profiles. If we’re unable to confirm these details, your listing may be paused until the information is corrected.
- Inconsistent Business Name
- Your listing should clearly match the business name used across your digital presence. If there’s a discrepancy between the name provided and what appears on your official website or social pages, we’ll move the listing to pending for clarification.
- Duplicate Business Address
- We’ve identified multiple listings using the same business address and website but under different names. While we understand that various individuals may operate under one location, Local Where 2 is designed to represent the business as a whole—not individual service providers. This helps prevent confusion and keeps listings consumer-friendly.
- Non-Compliance with Our Terms and Conditions
- All listings must adhere to our platform’s Terms and Conditions. If a listing is found to breach these terms, it will be moved to “Pending” status or “Removed” from the platform. You’ll be notified and allowed to update your details if moved to “Pending” status. If the listing still fails to comply, it will be removed from the site, and you’ll receive an email confirming this action.
Our goal is simple: to make sure every business is fairly and accurately represented, so consumers can trust the information they see. If you’ve received a notice, please review and update your listing. We’re here to help if you need guidance.
