As a Regional Sales Manager at Terex based in Omagh, you’ll play a pivotal role in supplying equipment that helps improve the lives of people around the world.
- Further develop, implement and coordinate a sales and marketing strategy in line with the organisation’s growth targets.
- To secure sales orders for machines and parts in line with agreed targets, whilst striving to maintain or improve company sales margins.
- To identify, appoint and assist in the development of new dealer accounts, where appropriate, within the region.
- To develop, implement and manage sales and marketing initiatives for dealer accounts within the assigned region, in a highly professional capacity, respecting company confidentiality at all times.
- To develop and agree annual business plans for each dealer account, providing regular documented feedback on progress vs plan throughout the year.
- To ensure all dealer accounts are formally contracted, current and aligned to Terex Standards.
- To establish dealer sales targets and provide forecasts for machines and parts sales, in line with the annual business plan.
- To work directly with dealer accounts and company parts representatives to drive parts sales and improve dealer service levels.
- To train and advise dealer staff (or end users) on company products, machine applications, services, warranties and basic aspects of technical sales.
- To proactively liaise with other company functions to ensure dealer accounts have access to engineers, field service and other team members as necessary.
- To carry out ongoing research of local market and business activity and identify new opportunities for current and future products.
- To receive feedback on existing products and services, as well as changes, enhancements and new products and convey information to engineering and marketing team members for research and consideration.
- To gather and collate regular local submission of market data in line with agreed input targets.
- To actively participate in establishing and tracking dealer / end user customer satisfaction levels.
- To attend trade shows, dealer conferences, and exhibitions and play an active part in marketing activities as appropriate.
- Extensive International travel will be involved.
- To adopt and/or assist with implementation of any new management techniques, systems, processes or reports as appropriate.
- To ensure compliance with Terex and local laws and advise Terex Finlay of any contradictions with company policies and good business practices.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time.

- Professional level practical knowledge of the principles and practices involved in new business development, product marketing and sales
- Significant direct experience of managing dealer accounts within the capital equipment construction business is preferred, although not essential
- Ideally fluent (to professional business level) in the following – English (Additional languages would be an advantage)
- In-depth technical, sales and applications knowledge of Crushing and Screening products
- Excellent interpersonal skills to prepare and deliver formal presentations to customers
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills to develop sales strategies
- Thorough working knowledge of MS Office packages
- Ability to work independently while coordinating activities with a variety of large teams
- Time and Territory Management practices must be exceptional.
- Need for commercial and innovative thinking
- You must be goal and result orientated with the energy, perseverance and commitment to drive forward sales to our Dealers and their customers.
- Significant international travel is required to assigned territories.
