About Us and Our Team

Our inclusive philosophy, combined with dedicated injury management and a varied weekly class plan, ensures every student can find their perfect practice and feel truly valued.
Welcome to Magra Wellness, your sanctuary for Hatha, Chair, and Bikram (Hot Yoga) classes in Tillick, Northern Ireland. Our philosophy, ‘doing what you can with the body you have,’ fosters an inclusive, non-judgmental environment perfect for all levels, from complete beginners to seasoned practitioners. We emphasise honouring your unique and wonderful body and staying connected to your breath, always inviting you to move from the head into the heart.
We specialise in making yoga accessible: our Chair Yoga classes are particularly popular and suitable for those aged 65 and over, or individuals with limited mobility or wheelchair users. We also passionately teach Kids Yoga in local primary schools for ages 4-10.
For your convenience, we offer a hybrid model for our adult classes, allowing you to join in-studio or live stream online. We also provide private 1-to-1 sessions where we can travel to your location, and cater to community groups and workplaces through corporate wellness programs and classes at various venues.
We are deeply committed to student well-being. Before your first class, we’ll inquire about any injuries or health conditions (like sciatica or back pain), advising you to take the class at your own pace and offering modifications for various poses as needed. Our instruction is fully adaptable for various physical limitations and body types, ensuring everyone can participate safely and effectively.
Come discover a practice that builds flexibility, reduces stress, and enhances body awareness with Magra Wellness.

Practical Details & Amenities
For your first yoga class, we recommend wearing comfortable, breathable clothing that allows for a full range of motion without restriction. Light layers are often a good idea. For our Bikram (Hot Yoga) classes, please be aware that the room is heated; lighter, moisture-wicking activewear (shorts/leggings and a sports bra/tank top) is highly recommended, and bringing a towel and water bottle is essential.
Hatha class:
Centering and breathwork (connecting to the mat, settling the body)
Awareness of breath (connect with inhale/exhale, usually adding in a count)
Limbering (begin to move the body from a lying down position, and then from a seated position, and then from a table top (all fours) position
Warming/Strengthening (poses from a standing position)
Calming (bringing the body back down onto the mat in prone and on the back, finishing with Savasana and a small meditation
We advise students to bring their own yoga mat for hygiene and comfort, though we always carry a few spare mats if you forget or don’t have one for your first visit. We supply belts and blocks free of charge for all classes. For sessions at our home studio, we also offer the use of cushions and bolsters to enhance your practice. For Chair Yoga, you do not need to bring a mat as the chair is your primary prop, but a sturdy, non-slipping chair is key.
